Prince Harry will turn 40 on September 15, but he is not planning to use the milestone to change his current path. While recent reports have suggested he may be seeking a return to royal life, insiders close to Harry have been surprised by these claims.

He remains content living in California with Meghan Markle and their children. Although Harry has been in touch with UK-based friends and organizations, his focus is on continuing his work with charities and patronages, not resuming royal duties.

One major issue preventing Harry from spending more time in the UK is the lack of automatic security access for him and his family since stepping down from royal duties. He is pursuing legal action to secure better protection during UK visits, a concern that has strained his relationship with King Charles.

Despite these challenges, Harry enjoyed reconnecting with the community during his visits earlier this year, including a trip for the Invictus Games’ 10th anniversary and his attendance at his late uncle Lord Robert Fellowes’ funeral in August.

He plans to continue his charitable efforts in New York City following his birthday, including supporting the Diana Award and advancing initiatives through the Archewell Foundation.
