Despite rumors about difficult times and controversial decisions, Meghan Markle continues her work with Netflix. Her upcoming cooking show, With Love, Meghan, was delayed due to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, while her husband, Prince Harry, has been focusing on the Invictus Games. The show, With Love, Meghan, is an eight-episode series filmed at the couple’s multi-million-dollar Montecito mansion in California. Meghan will host guests, including her former Suits co-star Abigail Spencer, chef Roy Choi, actress Mindy Kaling, and chef-restaurateur Alice Waters.
In her Instagram post, Meghan expressed excitement about the show’s launch, thanking her crew and Netflix for their support. Despite speculation that their Netflix deal may not be renewed due to the amount of content produced, Netflix’s Chief Content Officer, Bela Bajaria, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming show, predicting its success.
Though Meghan didn’t give interviews ahead of the release, Mindy Kaling shared her experience on the Golden Globes red carpet, describing how Meghan’s cooking exceeded her expectations and how Meghan’s lifestyle was both accessible and inspiring.
Abigail Spencer, also part of the show, shared that viewers will see an authentic side of Meghan. She emphasized how the show is a heartfelt experience, with Meghan offering a glimpse into her personal life.
Initially set to air earlier this year, the show was postponed due to the wildfires, with a new release date set for March.
Additionally, Meghan launched her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, last year, and with this new series, she’s keeping herself busy. While some critics feel her character doesn’t fit the “ideal” lifestyle brand persona, it’s clear that Meghan is carving her own path.
She’s also been active on Instagram, sharing a touching story about meeting a mother and daughter affected by the LA wildfires. Meghan helped fulfill the teenager’s wish by reaching out to Billie Eilish for support. The video of Meghan sharing the packages from Eilish sparked praise from fans, particularly because it showed her without makeup, highlighting her natural beauty.
In an interview years ago, Meghan revealed her skincare routine, which she describes as low-maintenance, preferring a natural, radiant look without foundation. Her makeup artist, Spencer Barnes, noted that she emphasizes glowing, healthy skin and loves neutral tones for her eyes.
