Showing kindness and choosing to help others is something only the very best people do. During a bitterly cold winter, the Hulscher family welcomed their second child. Maria and Jesse were thrilled, and their little boy had just become a big brother.

While Maria and the newborn were still in the hospital, Jesse went home to prepare everything for their arrival. But as soon as he walked in, he discovered a major problem—the furnace had stopped working. Panic set in immediately. He knew how difficult it could be to get someone to fix it on short notice.

With the harsh winter temperatures dropping even lower, Jesse understood he had to act fast. Not only were his wife and new baby coming home soon, but he also worried about their 2-year-old. He called a repair service, expecting a long wait. Instead, the opposite happened.

After Jesse explained the situation to the employees at Magnuson Sheet Metal, they agreed to help right away. The repairman fixed the furnace quickly, and then handed Jesse the bill. But instead of a charge, all it said was: “No charge. Take care of the baby.”

When The Sun heard about this heartwarming act, they reached out to the company’s co-owner, Craig Aurand. He explained that the company has a tradition of offering free help to families in need during the holiday season.

This beautiful act of compassion truly touched us, and we hope it inspires others as well. Please SHARE this story with your loved ones so more people can hear about it.
