People often say, “To each their own,” especially when it comes to personal preferences. Whether it’s about food—like the never-ending pineapple-on-pizza debate—or everyday habits, opinions can really vary.
Here’s a little example from my life. I wash my underwear along with the rest of my laundry—socks, pants, everything. I use hot water and detergent, and I’ve never seen the point of separating them.
Well, one day, my mother-in-law happened to see me doing laundry. She immediately started complaining, insisting that I was doing it all wrong. About 15 minutes later, I walked into the bathroom and saw that she had stopped the washing machine, pulled out my husband’s underwear, replaced it with mine, and then restarted the cycle.
