The lads kept their parents in the dark when they learned about the infant. However, the secret is now obvious. Naturally, the boy’s parents feared that the boy’s life was now irreparably wrecked.
Alfie was ecstatic when the child was born and immediately began to take care of her. He fed her, cared for her, and walked beside her. Of course he couldn’t support his wife and daughter. But he was always there to assist her.
