Most young kids spend all of their time having fun. They often engage in electronic games, TV watching, and outdoor play with their friends. The McBrides brothers, who are 12, 10, and 9 years old, are among those who work in their spare time, nevertheless.
Unbelievably, Marcus, Travell, and Marcelino are highly skilled at what they do and have created their own company, the 3 Amigos Lawncare Service. So far, about 40 families from Saginaw, Michigan, where they live, use their services.
It all started when Marcus, the oldest brother, told his mother, Terri Reed, that he wanted to start a business, and she loved the idea. Terri told Michigan Live that Marcus told her he wanted to start his own lawn care business. “I got up the next day and bought all of their tools and work clothes,” he said. Because the brothers work hard and are dedicated, their neighbors trust them. What’s more, now that summer is almost over, they want to add more services, such as clearing leaves and snow, to the ones they already offer.
Mom Terri is delighted with pride for her boys. She owns a number of rental properties in the area, and now that her boys have saved enough money from working hard all summer, they have put it into an investment property.
Terri said, “They’re having fun.” “They get paid every week, and the rest of the money goes into their business accounts.”
